The Forest Hills Adult Community Band offers a place for personal growth in instrumental music. Some of our musicians have played their instruments for many years. Other have not played for many years, but wish to return to great musical performances. The Hartland Community Band was organized in to foster and promote an adult concert band that offers challenging and rewarding music for all players. We exist as an organization to enrich our musical skills and to gather with other adults sharing the same interests and backgrounds.
The Sno Valley Winds is an adult community band serving the Snoqualmie Valley communities of Snoqualmie, North Bend, Fall City, Carnation and anywhere else! The band consists of standard concert band wind and percussion instruments and is always looking for new members. Contact Us if you are interested in joining the band. We rehearse from. The FHACB rehearses in the Forest Hills Eastern High School Band Room and performs in the Auditorium. We follow the Forest Hills Public Schools Calendar (no rehearsals during the school closings and breaks). Currently, the band consists of 76 members of all instrument types. We are open to all inquiries. Our membership includes: 9 Flutes; 2 Oboes.
COMMUNITY BAND No more than 50% of the ensemble can include the following: • Professional musicians • Instrumental music educators • Students pursuing a music degree • Private instrumental educators • Music faculty in higher education Naturally any member of the ensemble can be from an occupation not listed above. The South Shore Band is a volunteer adult community band based in Staten Island, N.Y. New members are always invited to join. Our members include professionals, amateurs, and some musicians who had long been away from active playing.
